Foulquier, among the right-backs with the highest effectiveness in blocking crosses in LALIGA EA SPORTS 24-25
The defender occupies the 8th spot in the rankings.
Although downbeat after the 2-0 defeat at the hands of Rayo Vallecano on Matchday 31 of the LaLiga season, José Luis Gayà spoke to VCF Media to give his thoughts on the game. The fullback expressed the disappointment in the dressing room with a result that ends the team's unbeaten run.
The game
"Everything went wrong for us today. We had chances to go ahead, and we didn't take them -and when they scored, we weren't able to come back. It's a game to forget, but the team will continue to give our all. We won't give up and we're going to fight for our aims, whatever happens. We had a very good opportunity to win and keep moving up the table, but we wasted it. We leave here hurt, because this was a day for us to win and it wasn't to be."
Reflecting on Vallecas
"Vallecas is a tough ground to visit, and Rayo pressure you a lot here. We weren't up to the standard the game required. Now we need to be self-critical, forget about what happened today and focus on the next game, which is in the Europa League against Villarreal."
